Energy crisis and environmental pollution demands innovative solutions and substantial structure changes from a petroleum-based to a bio-based industrial production. The ambition of CatBior II is to cover the most advanced research topics in these fields, to provide a platform for exchanging ideas, and to pave the way for future research challenges.
