The Organizing Committee cordially invites you to participate in the 2nd International Congress on Catalysis for Biorefineries to be held in Dalian (China) from 22nd to 25th September, 2013. This International Congress is devoted to fundamental and applied research on non-enzymatic catalytic processes for biomass transformations. CatBior is especially focused on: innovative catalytic processes; novel bioproducts and biofuels, new catalysts; and engineering and molecular aspects of the process. 

Conference Topics

This congress is devoted to fundamental and applied research on catalytic processes for biomass transformation without enzymatic process. The topical areas of interest include, but are not limited to:

a) Catalytic transformation of cellulose, hemicelluose, lignin, and raw biomass.

b) Catalytic transformation of biomass-derived platform chemicals.

c) Catalytic transformation of plant oil, fats, algae and oleo-derived chemicals.

d) Thermochemical transformations of biomass and related catalytic upgrading technologies for bio-oil.

e) Other biomass catalytic transformation processes.
