中国可视化与可视分析大会 (ChinaVis) 由我国可视化业界工作者联合发起,宗旨是促进中国及周边地区的可视化与可视分析研究与应用的交流,探讨在大数据时代可视化与可视分析发展的方向与机遇,推动相关研究与应用的发展与进步,推进学科的发展,促进人才培养和交流。会议将搭建与国内外著名专家、企业家、应用部门面对面交流,深入研讨可视化前沿技术及其应用的交流和沟通平台,促进中国可视化与可视分析领域产、学、研、用协同发展新生态的形成。第一届和第二届中国可视化与可视分析大会分别于北京(2014年)和天津(2015年)举办,会议汇集了国内外数百名可视化研究人员与领域专家,取得了圆满成功。
第三届中国可视化与可视分析大会(ChinaVis 2016) 将于 2016 年 7 月 21 日- 23 日在长沙举行。本次大会由国防科技大学高性能计算国家重点实验室 (HPCL) 承办,有多家赞助单位协办。本次大会内容包括特邀报告、论文报告、海报、展览、及专题研讨。会议同期还将举办中英可视化高峰论坛等活动。大会将邀请国内外可视化领域知名专家就相关研究与应用的最新进展作大会报告,介绍发展动态,开拓研究思路。欢迎从事可视化与可视分析,以及相关领域研究的专家、学者、学生以及工业界的专家、专业技术人员踊跃投稿与参会。

Panel 1: 架起可视化与机器学习和数据挖掘的桥梁
随着计算机网络广泛应用以及大数据时代的到来,数据和信息的产生和扩散越来越海量化、多样化和即时化。因此如何帮助人们从多种多样的信息传播渠道中迅速挖掘真金成为十分关键也颇具挑战性的问题之一。近几年来,研究人员紧密结合机器学习、数据挖掘与信息可视化等领域的技术帮助用户更好地理解和分析信息,从而为解决这一技术难题提供了一个可行方案。在这个专题讨论中,我们旨在讨论这一跨学科研究所面临的主要技术挑战、关键技术、最新技术和研究现状、典型应用案例及未来发展趋势。

Panel 2: 形成可视化研究应用与产业协同发展的新生态
随着大数据时代的到来,可视化与可视分析以其将人的智能与计算机的超强处理能力有机融合的优势,开始成为数据分析和科学决策的重要方法和有效手段,越来越多的领域复杂问题迫切需要用可视化的方法来解决。迄今为止,科研人员在可视化与可视分析理论方法的研究方面已取得丰富成果、一些典型的可视化应用和可视化工具也开始出现,然而如何将这些成果快速、高效地推广应用、发展可视化产业、形成可视化研究应用与产业协同发展的新生态是一个颇具挑战性的问题。本专题讨论将重点讨论可视化与可视分析的领域应用需求分析、典型可视化与可视分析工具、系统应用生态、产业化机制和体制创新。
